Steve Rigby joins judging panel to award £1m investment to UK’s most-promising startup

Steve Rigby joined an expert judging panel at London Tech Week to name Unhubs as the winner of this year’s OnetoWin Rising Stars final. Uhubs, a fast-growing platform supporting the performance of VC- and PE-backed sales teams, was named overall winner of the early-stage pitch competition and will receive a total investment prize of £1 million.

Steve Rigby, Co-CEO of Rigby Group, said:

“We are delighted to confirm that Uhubs is the 2025 OneToWin winner and we will now enter into negotiation for an investment in this exciting business.

“OneToWin provides an amazing platform for the UK’s great entrepreneurial talent to showcase their potential. The quality of all the businesses entering this year was high and I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to enter. We are sure that all these businesses will go on to achieve great things.”

This year, Rigby Group’s groundbreaking £1m prize pitch competition OneToWin joined Tech Nation’s Rising Stars to go national. The competition is powered by Founders Forum Group, is supported by Rigby Group and its flagship IT services business, SCC, alongside co-funders Haatch and Wealth Club.

Following a series of six regional heats earlier this year, six startups each secured a £330,000 SEIS investment offer and progressed to the national final. Eight shortlisted businesses pitched to a judging panel including Rigby Group Co-CEO Steve Rigby, Alex Davies, Wealth Club, and Charlie Weavers-Wright and Fred Soneya from Haatch.

After deliberation, three standout ventures were invited to present in-depth:

  • DataWollet, an AI-powered tool to simplify and secure data sharing

  • sAInaptic, an AI-based platform for automated qualification assessment

  • Uhubs, founded by Matt Milligan, which impressed judges with £1.7m in annual revenues and a proven track record in supporting high-growth sales teams

The other five shortlisted finalists recognised at the national final were: QuestPrehab, JURNYON, inploi, Volunteero, and Stamp Free Limited. All showcased strong commercial potential and commitment to solving real-world challenges.

The judges were joined by Peter Kyle MP, Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, to announce Uhubs as the winner.
